Italian architecture studio Bergmeisterwolf created the Kofererhof House, a modern updated farmhouse. Located in the hills of a vineyard in Neustift-vahrn, Italy, this new home was built on and around an existing farmland plot.
Rising with the natural incline of the vineyard, this house becomes a part of its surrounding nature with its elongated shape and sustainable materials. With a raw concrete exterior and hand-crafted wooden finishes on the inside, this space provides an intimate yet modern environment. By updating an aging farmhouse and attaching a brand new structure to it, Bergmeisterwolf's architects created a structure that marries classic and contemporary details while retaining its level of function. The back of the house features large windows, allowing the breathtaking views to been seen from every room. This modern updated farmhouse fits naturally into the original landscape, instead of over-powering it.
