Looking more like a lumpy soft cloud then a modern armchair, this brand new foam armchair by Philippe Malouin is made using just foam. That means this could just be the softest chair ever made.
The Canadian designer unveiled his latest creation, which he designed for Established & Sons, at Milan Design Week 2014. The 'Mollo' chair is the designer's first collaborative effort with the British furniture brand.
With nothing hard on the inside, and an all-foam filling, the velvet upholstered modern armchair feels as comfortable as it looks.
"We always knew we wanted to make something super soft and comfortable and [Mollo] kind of happened by accident," says Malouin about his curvy and plump creation.
