It's never too early to start one's love of cars, and Tesla is capitalizing on this with its new Model S for kids -- designed in partnership with Radio Flyer. Much like the adult version, the mini Tesla comes fully loaded, with working headlights, a front trunk, and a sound system.
Meant for ages 3-8, there are plenty of customizable features to select from like battery power, color, wheel rims, custom license plates and parking signs. In fact, this mini vehicle has been sold out for the past two months in both the US and in Canada. Much like the adult version, the Tesla Model S for kids has quite the price tag, $499 in the US and $563.05 in Canada (shipping and customs fees).
The mini-Tesla has a top cruising speed of 6mph, although parents can alter the settings to reduce it to 3 mph. The mini car also boasts the use of Lithium Ion Batteries and can be upgraded to the premium battery for 50% more playtime for an extra $50.
