MNTGE's Fruits & Veggies Edition Links to a Non-Fungible Token
Laura McQuarrie — May 4, 2023 — Fashion
MNTGE's Fruits & Veggies edition introduces the first physical garments from a digital fashion house. Using upcycled Levi's jeans, the digital wearables brand created new styles that integrate NFC tags that can be tapped so that users can claim a collectible NFT and authenticate their purchase. Additionally, the NFC-enabled denim designs allow people to access exclusive digital experiences.
There are just 100 pairs of the vintage Levi's denim jeans that have dropped and they feature embroidered designs in the shape of produce by Sean Wotherspoon.
While MNTGE (pronounced “Mintage”) got its start by targeting web3 natives and building a core community of collectors, it is expanding with a larger audience in mind by debuting physical pieces of apparel.
