Traditional street mirrors that you can find in the roads of many cities around the world are good for offering some drivers, cyclists and pedestrians the optimal view but can sometimes obscure it for others, which is where the 'Mirror Warning' system aims to offer assistance. Developed by Yen Ting Chen and Jeffrey Wang, the mirror works by implementing a traditional road mirror into the bottom portion of the unit. The upper portion features a series of LEDs that flash to let you know if it's safe for you to proceed or if you need to wait for another motorist, cyclist or pedestrian to make their way forward first.
The 'Mirror Warning' system comes as a versatile, modern solution to prevent accidents.
