Kebne is a minimalist outdoor gym that acts as a hybrid of sculpture, public furniture and landscape architecture. Designers Johan Kauppi and Nina Kauppi drew inspiration from Kebnekaise, Sweden’s tallest mountain.
Kebne is equipped with five individual, peak-like structures that are compatible with a variety of exercises in strength training and agility. The three-dimensional frames come with diagrams portraying how each piece of equipment is intended to be used. Unlike gym equipment that contains weights, cables and counterweights, Kebne and its fixed components require no continued maintenance.
This minimalist outdoor gym was created with inclusion and accessibility in mind. The eye-catching design, simple setup and lack of required maintenance make this gym a perfect piece of outdoor recreational equipment.
