The Mill Kitchen Bin Automatically Recycles Food Scraps
References: mill & design-milk
The Mill kitchen bin is an odorless kitchen bin that automatically does the work by recycling food scraps and turning them into dry and clean grounds to be used in other ways. The sustainable kitchen appliance ensures that no food goes to waste, breaking down dairy, meats, bones, peels, and more. It also promises to keep any odor trapped with the filtration system.
It works overnight, breaking down the materials into food grounds -- it can also accommodate 35-45 pounds of wet scraps, which take between 2-4 weeks to fill. Once it is filled, the food grounds can be used at home, donated to a local composting program, or have the grounds sent back to Mill and turned to chicken feed. To track all of this, the device is connected to an app to receive updates and schedule pick-ups.
