To be honest, these Mighty Fine Star Wars t-shirts didn't have to try very hard to sell themselves to legions of fans, but they did anyways and produced some highly impressive propaganda-esque designs.
Most of your favorite Star Wars characters can be seen in this stellar collection of intergalactic shirts, from Darth Vader to Luke Skywalker. I'm thoroughly impressed with the way these shirts are able to emulate the visual aesthetic of '30s and '40s war posters. My favorite of these Mighty Fine Star Wars tees is without a doubt the one featuring a bunch of Stormtroopers with the word "UNITE" hovering above them -- it almost makes me want to join the evil Empire.
Implications - Consumers have an affinity for wartime imagery because it's familiar and from a romanticized era. Corporations trying to convey a sense of patriotism may consider using war poster imagery in their promotional campaigns.
