Although she boasts a bachelor of International Relations and a post graduate degree in Graphic Design and Branding, Michelle Armas decided to leave the corporate world in favor of the art one. With one foot already in that realm, she dove head first after dabbling in painting in order to combat the stress of her corporate branding job.
Michelle Armas left New York City for Atlanta and picked up a paint brush full time. Working out of a studio in Decatur, Georgia, Michelle Armas focuses on strikingly colorful paintings that are full of abstract strokes and lines. Entirely interpretive and subjective, her work resonates with a large fan base in a number of ways. Not to mention that it fits into many living spaces effortless.
