A new Mercedes-Benz office makes its way to Istanbul, Turkey as the bright space designed by Boytorun Architects features expansive areas that accommodate to various working styles. The hub is comprised of areas that encourage collaboration and garner a healthier work balance. It is one of eight licensed firms that the company works with globally and the architects have completed showrooms for the brand as well.
This project leans to a new angle of aesthetics as it strays away from the usually sleek language. They relocated from what was once an industrial space by their factories to a busier area in the central district, nestled right by a shopping mall. Semih Boytorun, managing partner at Boytorun Architects shares, "The office is now in the heart of Istanbul, with stores and a younger population. There’s a different energy and we wanted to reflect that.”
