Levi's Relaunches Albert Einstein's 'Menlo Cossack Jacket'
Levi’s Vintage Clothing has debuted a reproduction of the ‘Menlo Cossack Jacket’ famously known for being repeatedly purchased and worn by physicist Albert Einstein in the 1930s. The jacket was initially reintroduced by Levi's Vintage Clothing in 2018 and again in 2019. This time, the ‘Menlo Cossack’ leather jacket is available in women's sizes and is styled in cognac-tinted calfskin with a fit that is identical to the original.
The box features a photo of the famous figure smoking a pipe covered in lipstick kisses. A tribute to the "#97" Christie's paddle, which won the auction for Einstein's original leather jacket, and another image of the physicist are both found inside.
The women’s-exclusive ‘Menlo Cossack Jacket’ will be available via Levi’s Japan’s online store.
