Grocery shopping in the Midwest just got a whole lot easier, thanks to the Meijer Find-It app. This trial app gives shoppers in for Michigan-based Meijer grocery store an indoor GPS system. Customers can locate everything from food items to restrooms on their iPhones.
The days of reading signs and asking for directions may be coming to a close. The app is free to download, although I am not sure how it works. While the Meijer Find-It app will make life easier for first-time customers, it does seem like a little bit of overkill. Finding the soup is easier than driving crosstown.
