Rick Owens Presents the Megalaced Mule for SS25
Rick Owens shines a spotlight on the new Megalaced Mule, which is also known as the 'Granola' silhouette from the fashion house's Spring/Summer 2025 collection. It truly lives up to its name as the modern has the Megalacing detail across the black upper constructed from calfskin materials.
Underneath all of the decor, the classic set of leather mules, which have gone through a veg-tanned process is resting on top of the low-profile Granola sole unit. In addition to the Megalace upper and the heel strap, which add stability and security, it also has a more artisanal shape. It is slightly more slim than the models from the previous capsule. Rounding out the shoe is the contrast between the laces and the hardware.
