Cooking and baking enthusiasts stock their kitchen drawers with measuring cups, teaspoons and tablespoons—sometimes even multiple sets of these measuring utensils. To clean up the consumer's kitchen and help them make the most of limited space in the kitchen for storage, 'iomaa' created a 3D-printed measuring cube.
The measuring tool includes precise sections that can be filled with a variety of ingredients in different quantities, ranging from a quarter of a teaspoon to a full cup. Depending on which side of the cube is used at one time, it may be possible for an at-home chef to fill multiple compartments at a time.
With the files shared to Thingiverse, the 3D-printed measuring cube has the potential to be created in either imperial or metric versions.
