'Me Myself and I' is a coffee table book and Kickstarter project from Vancouver-based photographer Christopher Edmonstone, who decided to start capturing his daily life when he found himself stuck in his apartment alone for lockdown.
Before starting the photobook, Edmonstone's work involved him photographing musicians and live shows—which quickly came to a halt when touring was put on hold in response to the pandemic. The comical photobook depicts Edmonstone and his two other selves in his apartment, where he's shown lounging on the couch, returning to an empty fridge, and fighting off pathogens with sprayable disinfectants.
Me Myself and I acts as a catalog of the emotions so many Canadians experienced during lockdown—acting as a relatable souvenir of the less serious effects of COVID-19.
