Car enthusiast Henrik I. Matevossian from Armenia has built his own Maserati supercar. Matevossian started his dream project in 1985 and finished it in 2007. While he had to stop his project more than once due to the fall of the Soviet Union and the Armenian War, he resumed his project after 2000.
Matevossian changed the design of the car several times to give it a sporty look. He used the engine, gearbox and rear suspension of a 1984 Maserati V6 BiTurbo. The Maserati supercar also feature a 5-speed manual transmission, Weber carburetor and Toyota steering wheel. Unfortunately, due to Armenia's special law, Matevossian is not allowed to drive his homemade sports car beyond the national border.
