Those staying in British Marriott hotels can now take their sheets home with them (sort of) thanks to the Marriott Bed Linen Tote. This upcycled tote is made entirely out of bed sheets that the hotel chain decided to retire. Instead of dumping them in a landfill, the sheets are repurposed as stylish totes. Despite being made of bed sheets, the bags look like normal totes (you wouldn't know unless told).
UK Marriott partnered with designers Lily & Lionel and Earth-friendly bag company SleepingBags to create the Bed Linen Tote. The bags are currently being offered in a limited run of 1,000 and are being sold for about $32 (20 pounds). Fifty percent of the proceeds from each bag sold will be donated to the Prince's Trust, a youth charity in the United Kingdom.
