I've seen some cool circuit board creations before, but I have to say that Mark McQuilten's Melbourne motherboard has surpassed them all. Not only is it a miniature sci-fi replica of the Australian city, it was designed to be bar furnishings.
Mark McQuilten submitted his motherboard map of Melbourne at the State of Design Festival in an exhibition called Raising the Bar. Designers were asked "to use recycled materials to design components for a working bar," according to PSFK. Mark McQuilten describes his work as "a modern-day Nolli diagram."
