These cute and quaint depictions of various cities around the world from the Marisa Seguin 'Here nor There' illustrations give you the most charming city view you'll ever have. It appears there are no right angles or straight lines in the Canadian artist's vision of cities Paris, Vancouver, San Francisco, Venice and Milwaukee, which give the designs a playful charm. Realism is the furthest thing away from these cityscapes, with light pastel colors ranging from pink, orange, turquoise and yellow. Further adding to the surrealism, distance is ignored when depicting the cities' major monuments like Sacre Coeur in Paris or Saint Jean's Basilica in Venice.
Nonetheless, this artist illustrates wonderfully her own visual summary of each city in simplistic playfulness. My favorite is of Paris especially Ile Saint Louis, whose main claim to fame is ice cream both in life and the Marisa Seguin 'Here nor There' illustrations. These would make wonderful postcards!
