The glamour of the historical Mediterranean city of Barcelona attracted not only Woody Allen, but also huge investment in its already competitive luxury hotel industry such as Mandarin Oriental Group.
The newly opened Mandarin Oriental Barcelona is located at the famous street Passeig de Gràcia, just minutes away from Gaudi’s Casa Batlló. Refurbished from an old bank, the hotel features a subtle reflection of its oriental heritage and everything polished thanks to the Milan-based Spanish architect Patricia Urquiola.
Guests are expected to enjoy the creative details from Chinese traditional drawer-inspired walls and modern yet zenish interior decor, to the spacious rooftop terrace which holds occasional events.
