The Maiyet Fall/Winter 2014/2015 campaign features images that let on little if any color. Photographer Cass Bird did away with bright lights and natural tones, instead opting to take images of model Malgosia Bela within pitch black streets and dim rooms.
While many akin couture productions choose to highlight current collections by way of bold shades, the Maiyet label proves via this campaign that the apparel speaks for itself without the need for vivid embellishments.
In spite of the monochromatic motifs present in this Maiyet series, the pieces sported by Bela are instantly recognizable. Showcased within the photos are chunky ankle boots tied at the sides, masculine vests, draping button up capes, gem-encrusted tops and wrap dresses tied at the waist.
