The Magnum MK5 Has All the Trappings of a Supercar Without the Price
Laura McQuarrie — November 7, 2013 — Autos
The Magnum MK5 has recently been unveiled, describing itself as "the closest most people will get to experiencing a real racecar." Magnum vehicles have their roots in the 60s, when Jean-Pierre St-Jacques created the first formula race car and now this super light car is being brought to the streets.
The gorgeous Canadian supercar is street-legal and boasts incredible features like a power-to-weight ratio of 460 bhp per tonne and the agile handling ability of a racecar.
Although the car is luxurious, it is quite practical in several ways too. It features cargo compartments with ample space and as Bruno St-Jacques, the President and CTO of Magnum notes: "We built the MK5 to offer the speed and agility of a racecar combined with the stance and refinement of a supercar, without the high cost of either one.”
