In December 2008, the world’s first Buddha-Bar Hotel will open its doors in Prague.
Buddha-Bar Hotels & Resorts will be opening five-star luxury destinations in some of the world’s most loved vacation destinations. The atmosphere is anticipated to be similar to the Buddha-Bar Restaurants with a fusion of local and Eastern decor for an internationally appealing ambiance.
The first hotel in the group, the Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague, lies directly in the heart of Czech’s biggest metropolis. It will have a total of 36 luxury rooms and three ultra-exquisite suites with heavy Asian influences with a French colonial touch for a highly modern interior design.
Next to a Buddha-Bar Restaurant will a top-of-the line fitness center with an Oriental steam room. To complete the Buddha-Bar experience, guests will be able to retreat to the spa to indulge in the most divine spa for the ultimate in health and wellness pampering.
Each room features a rain shower head, in suite jacuzzi and steam room, Buddhattitudes bathroom amenities, a Buddha-Bar CD library, iPod cradle and a mirror with a TV screen that can be seen from the bath tub or jacuzzi.
The Buddha-Bar Hotels and Resorts group plans to open five additional global destinations in Panama, the Dominican Republic, Paris, Egypt (Sal Hasheesh) and in “The World,” Dubai’s man-made island group shaped like the world. By the end of this year, three more locations will be announced.
