The Manser Practice designed a luxurious estate home for a career-oriented couple in a forest near Heley-on-Thames.
The architects made the decision to split the home into two wings; one of which is dedicated to the social spaces, the other which contains the private bedrooms.
The Cotswold stone exterior gives the home a weathered, yet elegant look that instantly attracts the eye. The stone is kept modern with contemporary details. The first floor of the home features a wrap-around stone terrace, which is mimicked around the second level in cantilevered form. A glass enclosure that is attached to house contains an indoor pool. Because it is made of glass, swimmers have the luxury of swimming outdoors all year round.
