It's common for a product to feature some sort of image of its contents on its wrapper, but this isn't usually done in the way that Lucky's Ice Cream packaging has been designed. Instead of featuring one photo or illustration of a scrumptious serving of frozen dessert, the tubs have been covered in cute patterns that comprise repeated rows of cartoony ice cream cones.
TDA Boulder was enlisted to help the little Colorado shop to expand into a nationwide chain by freshening up its image for placement in supermarkets through the United States. The direction taken was to translate the image of a quality small operation into an extensively marketable. Lucky's Ice Cream packaging maintains the sweet appearance of simplified parlor-style treats with an enticing motif that pops from the grocery freezer.
