Coffee lovers rejoice, Caribou Coffee has recently launched their new loyalty program to make sure you get that freebie you deserve after showing your undying loyalty to its java -- and to generate new customer traffic to the brand.
The Caribou Perks loyalty program was finally introduced to make sure to reward customers for their dedication to the Minneapolis-based chain’s beverage and baked-goods menus. The new program was also launched to lock in existing customers, as not all coffee drinkers are loyal to coffee brands.
“There definitely is a group of consumers who go to the coffee shop and stick to it day in and day out, but the reality is there are more consumers who shop around quite a bit,” says Michele Vig, the company’s vice president of marketing. “The purpose of this program was to reward our really loyal customers with perks and to give customers who don’t see us as their No. 1 shop a reason to put us in that spot.”
