The first Love Cocoa store is slated to open its doors in London near Oxford Street to provide shoppers with access to a wide range of high-end chocolates and sweets alike. The shop comes as part of Westminster City Council's Meanwhile On project that's intended to provide access to high-profile retail locations for innovative brands through reduced rent, which is enables through Places for London. Shoppers will find luxury chocolate boxes packed with truffles, biscuits, hot chocolates and more.
Founder James Cadbury commented on the Love Cocoa store saying, "The inspiration behind Love Cocoa comes from my great-great-great grandfather John Cadbury, who was a philanthropist and anti-slavery campaigner. Like him, I want to build my company on great ethical grounds. His focus was looking after his workforce and improving civil rights, and it is these same ethical values that remain at the heart of our company today."
