Looking to extend its influence beyond the realms of fashion, one of the world's most famous luxury houses is set to update the 'Objets Nomades' Louis Vuitton furniture collection. The latest pieces will be shown at Art Basel Miami, a highly anticipated art fair that brings in high-caliber designers from all over.
Included is the 'Fur Cocoon' -- which, as its name suggests, envelopes one in a comfortable egg-like shape. In addition to the Campana Brothers-designed Fur Cocoon, the Louis Vuitton furniture collection will also feature a selection of other hammocks that are similar in appearance. These are offered in gray, yellow, red, blue and purple. A total of 18 pieces make up the series, with each crafted from the finest materials and offered in limited quantities.
