Louis Vuitton and (RED) work in collaboration to create a new luxury candle supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS. Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, the luxury fashion house's master perfumer created the scent and the overall design was led by Marc Newson. The ceramic container boasts a clean white hue and is hand-cast -- it also features a red metal disc top and leather handles.
Cavallier Belletrid sourced fine and natural ingredients to capture a scent that represents freedom, love, purity, and warmth. This is the result of sweet and peppery blends along with floral peony notes and raspberries as well. According to Cavallier Belletrud, the scent “has a strong universal character and with a real sense of liberty [...] I started with a peony flower accord which has a pronounced character through its highly floral elements with hints of spice, wood, and fruit. It is a perfume in itself.”
