These may look like paint works to some of you at first sight as it did to me; if so, I am happy to blow your mind and reveal that they are in fact a series of lottery ticket sculptures.
Artist couple Adam Eckstrom and Lauren Was’s Ghost of a Dream series features numerous sculptures of possessions people dream of purchasing.
The couple has been collecting these lottery tickets for quite some time now, vividly aware of the fact that they each represented someone’s lost dreams.
They decided to recycle these anecdotes to materialize the items that were abstractly lost.
