Retirement homes are not often associated with luxury, but Purcell is aiming to change this with the renovation of London's Wildernesse House, which are now being turned into retirement apartments for senior citizens.
This historic building can be traced back to the 13th century, presenting a unique challenge for the designers. The interior of the space sees a combination of historic pieces that pay homage to the building's legacy, as well as modern updates to help the guests feel as comfortable as possible. Some of these modern amenities include a spa, social spaces, therapy rooms and a swimming pool.
23 apartments will be available within this residence, with both single and double room options.
