The need for emissions-free vehicles in a variety of capacities is reaching new peaks, so new all-electric London double-decker buses have been unveiled in the metropolis.
Developed by BYD, the buses are capable of performing a variety of different uses that the traditional designs are known to excel at. The buses will be charged overnight with full charging cycles taking about four hours to complete. This will take place at the Metroline's Willesden Bus Garage, which is located in north London.
Five new all-electric London double-decker buses will be hitting the streets to offer Londoners a breath of fresh air with emissions being cut to zero. This allows the smog levels in the metropolis to be lowered with hopes for continued implementation of electric vehicles in the future.
