In light of Hispanic Heritage Month, Lo Nuestro es Arte from Spotify spotlights Latinx artists that use the platform.
Translating to "Ours is art" the digital and outdoor campaign commissioned five artists to create colorful art pieces featuring some of the platform's popular Latinx creators - including both podcast hosts and musicians. The pieces were created by artists Orly Anan, Cristina Martinez, Luisa Salas, Pedro Nekoi and D’Ana Nunez, and those represented in the art include Anthony Ramos, Prince Royce, Kali Uchis, Jenn Morel and Walter Thompson Hernandez.
To summarize the intention behind the campaign Monica Herrera Damashek, head of U.S. Latin, artist and label partnerships at Spotify, said “Spotify’s goal is to shed a light on the diverse voices that are making waves in culture and have so much power through their talent.”
