The Life-Size LZF Lamps merge interior design with life-size concepts. The gigantic lighting fixtures have been co-created by Marivi Calvo and Sandro Tothill who aimed to re-image the look of koi fish.
Three-dimensional display is central to the LZF project. The duo made the decorative pieces appear true to life with raised scales that viewers can take in immediately when examining the layouts.
Showcased along with these fish-inspired patterns are faux farm animals. This focus on fauna comes of a collaboration with illustrators Isidro Ferrer and Burkhard Dammner. Much like all of the pieces in this series, the bird and mouse-like structures are imaginative and surreal, speaking to the visionary appeal of the LZF lamps set.
