On the prowl for a laptop that has touch controls and is solar-powered? Of course you are, which is exactly why you should check out the Lifebook Leaf.
The Lifebook Leaf was designed by Laura Karnath and Carl Burdick for the Fujitsu Design Award. The design beat out thousands of others and was shortlisted for the top prize, probably because of its good and green looks. The entire outer skin of this laptop is covered in solar panels, which help keep it powered. The controls are all touch-sensitive and are made out of rubber so as to be durable.
A design like this is many, many years ahead of its time; still, I love seeing what designers consider to be the future, especially when it has to do with computers.
