The Lidl 2.24kWh Balcony Battery is arriving in Germany as a power storage solution engineered to help consumers tap into solar power without having to spend a fortune or deal with oversized components. The battery features the namesake 2.24kWh of storage capacity and supports a 1,000W charging input with an 800W output to work with most common balcony solar systems. This will enable users to capture solar energy during the day and run their essential amenities off of it in the night.

The Lidl 2.24kWh Balcony Battery can be monitored and controlled via the accompanying app, and is priced at €299 to make it a decidedly more accessible option for consumers to opt for when setting up a solar system.
