French designer Guillaume Delvigne creates the new Les Mille et Une Nuits collection for Maison Matisse. He imagines the classic painting from the 50s by Henri Matisse and names it after the same namesake. These mark the first office accessories by the brand with an expressive angle. The collection made its debut in Paris between the dates of January 18-23 at Maison & Objet.
Delvigne speaks about the collection, noting that “It was really important for me that the results were not rigid, because that would not have been in the spirit of Matisse, and to instead create movement and make the collection dynamic.” He ensures that the original essence of the painting was retained including the shapes and bold range of hues.
