Light pollution is extremely difficult to avoid, but the LED Street Lamp concept takes a stab at it with a flat illuminating plane and edging that directs the beam downward. A number of features make this urban lighting concept a significant improvement upon the majority of existing systems.
Felix Runde's streetlight is high-efficiency and low-energy illumination that brightens the road below and not the entire neighborhood around it.
