Laura Papp's engagement rings were designed and modelled in collaboration with Nelli Nogradi for IVANKA. The duo strove to create pairs of concrete accessories that would do more than simply complement each other aesthetically; they worked to reinforce the symbols of sharing, of unity and of togetherness.
The first examples that you will see feature the textures of fingerprints, impressed into the material while the bands were still wet. Wouldn't it be such a beautiful symbol of love to give your partner a ring with your own imprint on it? Several of the other designs include pairs that were cast as one whole, then broken to be worn by two people. The last of the engagement rings combine wooden details and feature sculptural contours that fit elegantly into one another.
