The Guinness Book of World Records has officially issued in the new record for the largest loop the loop in a car. The track measured a little over 42 feet in diameter and the car was driven by Li Yatao from the Car Team of Zhejiang Youngman Lotus Automobile Company.
The car driven was a lightweight Lotus L5 Sportback, which raced towards the loop the loop. One's heart almost stops right when the Lotus reaches the top of the loop, because its momentum weakens and one fears it may just fall straight dowm. Luckily, the car had gained enough momentum and managed to get past the halfway point and cruise out on the other side.
The record has now been set for the largest loop the loop in a car. Perhaps two loops in a row will be next.
