Think of the archetypal table light and you'll probably picture a wide-set stand and a big flaring lampshade; this is not what you get with the Lanx Table Lamp. Not only is this illuminator much thinner than that sort of model, it's much finer than any fixture you will have seen at its size.
Alessandro Marelli's elegant product essentially fulfills its purpose without adding much clutter to your working or living space. It has a rather small footprint and nearly a non-existent silhouette when viewed from the side. It's been manufactured from a carefully cut piece of 3 millimeter thick aluminum that's been bent in three places to produce an arching arm. A very thin wood grain veneer brings depth to the impossibly flattened fixture.
