The Lansinoh Smartpump is Bluetooth-Connected to Track Sessions
Meghan Young — May 24, 2016 — Lifestyle
The Lansinoh Smartpump is the first Bluetooth connected device of its kind to hit the market. Although it seems as though something like it should have already existed considering how lucrative the industry is, that's not the case. Of course, something as sensitive as breast pumping requires the best of the best.
The Lansinoh Smartpump boasts a double-electric pump that syncs with smartphones in order to send the date, time and duration of each pumping session to an accompanying app. Working with both iOS and Android systems, the Lansinoh Smartpump is meant to alleviate the process as much as possible. Yet mothers will still have to manually enter the amount of milk that they pump. Perhaps the next generation of the Lansinoh Smartpump will include a feature for this.
