At the Shenzen-Hong-Kong-Macau International Auto Show, Lamborghini unveiled its newest model entitled the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Gold Edition. This golden car is akin to the prized and unobtainable goose in The Golden Goose, due to its limited edition status and exorbitant cost.
This new speed demon features alloy wheels and a completely redesigned and unique engine covering. The interior of the masterpiece has undergone minor aesthetic changes; although, the steering wheel and seats have been reworked and embellished with bright red stitching.
This beautifully beastly car is equipped with a 5.2 liter V10 engine that boasts a total output of 552 horsepower at 8,000 rpm -- that's almost triple the standard horsepower in most cars on the road. This luxury car also has a peak torque of about 540 newton meters.
Unfortunately, the Gallardo LP560-4 Gold Edition will rarely be seen on the streets around the world, as only 10 cars of this particular model are being produced. Each of these cars will sell for a grand total of $800,000 -- that makes this car $200,000 more than a standard Lamborghini Gallardo. If this car isn't the epitome of luxury, then I don't know what is.
