Razer, the world's leading lifestyle brand for gamers, today announced the launch of the 'Razer Kishi V2 for iPhone.' This release follows the positive customer feedback on the original Kishi V2, which was for Android and ARM-based devices. The iOS-targeted version of the controller allows iPhone users to experience the same console-level AAA gaming experience directly on their Apple-branded handheld.
The Kishi V2 for iPhone features two analog thumbsticks with L3 and R3 functionality, as well as two analog triggers, R2 and L2, for precision control, such as when controlling the throttle in racing games. Aside from this, the controller features the standard A B X Y buttons, a D-Pad, a Menu and Options button, as well as two additional programmable buttons, labeled L4 and R4.
The Kishi V2 for iPhone boasts a dedicated 'Share Button' which functions when the controller is connected to the 'Razer Nexus' mobile application. This allows for screenshots and screen recordings to be saved directly to the mobile device. Lastly, the Kishi V2 for iPhone features lightning pass-through charging, enabling users to play for long periods of time without having to worry about battery life.
