The UrbanDesk is a convertible desk bed that allows owners of small spaces conserve space without the hassle.
Kickstarter Graham Phakos from Baltimore, Maryland first started conceiving this design when he wanted to utilize his bedroom to the maximum. In order to have a full size desk and bed, Phakos designed the UrbanDesk that is essentially a bed with a hidden desk underneath. The desk is revealed once the bed is lifted and pivoted against the wall. The beauty of this design is that the desk does not have to be cleared off before they go to sleep. According to Phakos, there is approximately eight inches of clearance between the bed and desk, so the user can leave their desk setup exactly the way it is each night, making it a great space and time saver.
