Nike Basketball and superstar NBA player Kevin Durant have officially launched the KD15, the 15th installment of the Nike x Kevin Durant sneaker series.
According to Nike, the design for the slick new basketball shoe drew inspiration from other retro Nike sneakers. One of them is the Jet Flight, a unique low-cut silhouette frequently worn by Canadian point guard Steve Nash in the early 2000s. As a result, the KD15 features a low-top design with top-notch performance-focused elements. These include a Zoom Air Strobel footbed and Nike Cushion midsole, which combine to deliver max responsiveness. In addition, the sneaker features a mesh toe construction, an injected TPU cage, and a 3D-printed heel.
The KD15 is being offered in one colorway called 'Beginnings,' which consists of black uppers, a baby blue sock liner and laces, and a multi-colored, graphics-heavy tongue.
