The JVC Kaboom Boombox Makes a Comeback with a Vengeance
Matt Ho — June 17, 2011 — Art & Design
Those who miss the '90s and old-school amplifiers in general will be happy to see that the JVC Kaboom Boombox is making a comeback.
Back then the JVC Kaboom Boombox was one of the hottest speakers around. Fast-forward to today and it may hold that title again. There's still the cylindrical design that's familiar to all, but in terms of specs, there's a few goodies here and there. This time there's a place for the iPod and iPhone which is safely tucked into a little door. There's a USB host feature that playback of files stored on USBs and there's a guitar/mic input with mixing capabilities. There's also a CD player and radio for those who really want to go back to simpler times.
The JVC Kaboom Boombox has been updated and it's packed full of sweet features. Welcome back.
