Jonathan Lopes has become keen on using LEGO pieces as his medium for recreating the city of Brooklyn. For about four years now, he has been working on completing the city, and his creations now take up his entire 400-square-foot living room.
Ultimately, Jonathan Lopes’ goal is to have his LEGO city resemble the sights he sees everyday as he rides the subway. Using the limited LEGO pieces, Jonathan Lopes attempts to make every building as realistic as possible. He attempts to recreate the texture of the aged city without painting or using dirty blocks.
