The Nice Jewish Guys Calendar Pays Tribute to the Good Guys

— December 5, 2012 — Pop Culture
Opposite to what we are used to seeing, the Nice Jewish Guy Calendar celebrates the average Joe.

The calendar is made up of 12 average looking gentlemen who may not have the 'it' factor but are most definitely nice, stable and hardworking men who have endearing qualities. Take Brian for example; he's a simple guy whose main qualities include enjoying a glass of OJ and watching Annie Hall.

Producer Adam Cohen came up with this unusual idea while discussing the overwhelming amount of hunky male calendars. His final decision to go through with creating the calendar was to pay tribute to all the good guys who always tended to get passed up at bars. As he pursued this endeavor, he was pleasantly surprised as to how many women loved the nice Jewish guy look after all.

The Nice Jewish Guy Calendar shows you that sometimes the nice guys do in fact finish on top.
Trend Themes
1. Celebrating Average Joes - Create products or services that cater to the everyday person rather than focusing on elite or glamorous individuals.
2. Anti-trend Trends - Develop products or campaigns that go against popular trends to appeal to a niche market or disrupt the status quo.
3. Unexpected Appeal - Create products or campaigns that challenge assumptions or stereotypes to attract customers who may not have initially been interested.
Industry Implications
1. Calendar Manufacturing - Develop unique and unusual calendars that celebrate average or overlooked individuals or groups to capture a new market.
2. Male Pass Times - Create products or services that cater to the simple pleasures and hobbies of everyday men to differentiate from products focused on traditionally masculine or elite activities.
3. Bar Culture - Develop campaigns or events that cater to people who may not be fans of traditional bar scenes or looking for a unique experience around social interactions.
