The images from the ‘Jerm IX Tattoo Project’ above prove that Jerm IX loves street art way more than you. Jerm IX has essentially pledged his body to a celebration of graffiti, enlisting the Flickr and StencilRevolution.com community to send him street art tattoo designs for what he calls a “body suit of street art.”
It’s quite an ambitious project. Jerm IX hopes that his completed tattoo project will celebrate street art in a more permanent way—one that won’t ever be washed off or painted over by rival artists or authority figures.
The ‘Jerm IX Tattoo Project’ is, at the time of this post, comprised of six pieces, which you can see above. Jerm IX plans to sit for one tattoo per month and has received designs from Microbo, Miss Van, BISERama, Starheadboy, Cameraman, and Grominate so far.
